What is it about?

Researchers have developed a new ImageJ/Fiji software tool that improves images' clarity by combining multiple pictures taken at different focus points. This tool is especially useful for studying detailed images of tiny subjects, like certain types of algae and bacteria, where it's hard to get everything in focus at once. The plugin also works well with images taken at different light levels, ensuring that both dark and bright areas are clear and detailed. By using advanced techniques to reduce noise and enhance fine details, this tool helps scientists get a better view of complex image data, making it easier to analyze and understand.
