What is it about?
The paper is containing applications of the theory of fractals, in order to generate new knowledge and science. The publication is about the discovery and evolution of the new sciences, in general, and pertaining and related to microelectronics and nanotechnology, in particular and about the view on the science of the future as compared to the science of the past, as well

Why is it important?
The publication is important because it gives on the one hand, a perspective about the fields of the microelectronics and nanotechnology resuming their history, how they emerged and evolved and what are the next future steps in their evolution, what is the classification and applications of them. On the other hand, the more original part of the publication is about the relation between the fractals and the theory of fractals and how these could be successfully applied in order to generate new information, science and knowledge.
