What is it about?

We study the flow of air and the temperature distribution in the gap between the head and the helmet. We try to see if the ventilated helmets are more comfortable than the non ventilated ones.

Why is it important?

In hot climates 2 wheeler helmets become uncomfortable to wear due to excessive sweating and heat. we are trying to see if we can create more comfortable conditions for helmet users.

Perspectives

We get a very special result that if the outdoor temperature is higher than the human body temperature, then ventilated helmets are worse than non ventilated helmets as we are throwing hot air on the head.
