What is it about?

In this review, we look at peer-reviewed literature to identify the extent of the suicide problem among homeless US Veterans. With a suicide rate of 81/100,000, it is clear homeless Veterans are a vulnerable population with many compounding factors for suicide. We also draw attention to the lack of any interventions to mitigate suicide in homeless Veterans and opportunities to advance the measurement and prevention of suicide in this population.
