What is it about?

N2 ERP component is regarded as neural marker of conflict resolution (inhibition) in the flanker paradigm. We have shown for the first time that the flanker task does not necessarily elicit the N2. What some previous studies may have interpreted as N2 might be a frontal aspect of P300 (P3b) ERP component.
