What is it about?
We used low fidelity simulation in place of an acute care clinical day as a way to help undergraduate nursing students learn leadership skills. Clinical sites are often difficult to find and creative thinking is needed for students to obtain their required number of clinical hours. Simulation was proven to be effective as an alternate clinical day for undergraduate nursing students in a leadership course.
