What is it about?
Environmental factors could affect beneficial mutualism between plant roots and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungus, such as light in aerial. Here we show for the first time how light signal systemically modulates arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosis through phyB-HY5-SLs signaling cascade under Pi deprivation condition, thereby facilitates P uptake for plants.
