What is it about?

We show rising atmospheric CO2 triggers an apoplastic H2O2-dependent biosynthesis of auxin in the apex. Polar auxin transport stimulates the biosynthesis of strigolactone, mycorrhizal symbiosis, and finally phosphate (P) uptake in the roots, especially under P starvation conditions.
