What is it about?
Plant respiration must operate over a wide temperature range in the environment, but we show that the step involved in making ATP is more adversely affected by cold than steps involved in oxygen consumption, altering the effectiveness of respiration at low temperature to fuel growth and maintenance of plant cells.
