What is it about?
In arbuscular mycorrhizal associations phosphate metabolism is critical to understand the mutualism of the association. In this review, we provide updates on various strategies for phosphate foraging, the regulatory mechanism of phosphate homeostasis, and phosphate translocation and export processes in arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi.
