What is it about?
Nurses need to provide health education to heart failure patients to perform their self-care especially after the patient was discharged home. This education information was important for patients to improve their quality of life and reduce the rate of readmission. However, the extent and depth of information possessed by the nurses was uncertain and needed to be investigated.

Why is it important?
This is a systematic review article that included thorough search and review of the quality of studies. This article was providing an insight to the nursing educator or nursing practitioners about the depth of nurses' understanding in regards to heart failure patient's self-care education topics.
