What is it about?
Rare case was reported in which chronic head movement may have injured the vertebral artery resulting in occlusion of that vessel and thus caused recurrent cerebellar infarction. The mechanism of this neurological complications was discussed with regards to the way of surgical treatment for cervical spondylosis.

This case report casts warning to doctors who intend to treat cervical spondylotic myelopathy by surgical operation in a patient with involuntary movement of the neck (dystonia or athetosis).
