This is a phenomenology from family caregivers' experiences of caring for someone with dementia.

If we understand family caregivers' experiences with resistveness to care we will be better prepared to offer interventions to help caregivers manage these situations

Perspectives

Writing this article provided new insights into the family caregivers' experiences that had not been published before. These will help nurses better care for both the patient with dementia but also the caregiver who provide daily care.
