Reflective Design Journals are very effective in activating and enhancing metacognition. This study revealed as that enhanced metacognition improved the understandings and abilities of architecture students. With the effective use of Reflective Design Journals, the process of design becomes an ongoing progression which starts in the studio and continues everywhere.
