This book brings together a collection of chapters written by well-known and not-so-well-known authors in the world of public health. The emphasis of the book, as it should be for a public health book of this nature, is the political and policy dimensions of health promotion.
Perspectives
The main weakness of this book is its UK-centric focus. However, there is sufficient international dimension to appeal to most international readers. Overall, this book will, no doubt, become another well-received addition to the stable of these authors. The book is recommended to those who have a general interest in and the drive to learn and practise health promotion within the framework of a broad public health agenda.
