What is it about?

This study looks at the experiences of Indonesian nurses who went to work as caregivers in Japan and then came back to Indonesia. We talked to 15 nurses about their journey. We found that when they returned home, they faced many challenges. They felt like they were starting from scratch and had a hard time finding nursing jobs again. This is important because it shows that we need to help these nurses make the most of their skills when they come back to Indonesia. The government and other groups should work together to make sure they can use their skills in healthcare here.
