Why is it important?
- The research explores the effectiveness of treatment with biologic and nonbiologic DMARDs in a great cohort of patients in Latin America. - There are no data about the antirheumatic treatment in “real life” in Colombia and Latin America. - The pharmacological therapy for rheumatoid arthritis in a group of Colombian patients is effective in a high proportion of patients, even higher than other cohorts reported. - This research identified the variables associated with no control, which it is useful for clinical decision making.
