What is it about?
Accessibility to HIV care is critical. We have shown for the first time that decentralized and Integrating HIV care into non-specialized primary care clinics is feasible and comparable to hospital based care in low-income setting.

Why is it important?
We looked at the HIV patients who are survived or retained in community based decentralized program on average of about 3 years follow up period. And we found that our retention rate is similar to the rate that was achieved from the care at the specialized hospital level.
