A successful case of deceased donor liver transplantation for a patient with intrahepatic arterioportal fistula

What is it about?

The main contribution of our paper is to demonstrate that liver transplantation is an effective therapeutic method for uncontrollable intrahepatic arterioportal fistula (IAPF) even in patients who have large arterioportal shunts as well as severe portal hypertension.
