What is it about?
As food hypersensitivity continues to rise, some individuals and families use benefit-finding to identify favorable or useful aspects of their adverse situation to help them cope. In this multicentre study, we used semi-structured interviews to identify and compare benefit-finding processes across 11 regional Australian families, including 48 nuclear family members.

Why is it important?
The findings offer a benefit-finding process hierarchy identifying the most advantageous benefit-finding processes. Insights are presented that may be used in psychoeducation and to develop a management plan to support the whole family.
