What is it about?
We sought to understand what matters in youth residential mental health services from the people who matter most - the young people who use these services. We co-produced a model of care that names the change work and environmental factors that support young people becoming experts of themselves.

Why is it important?
Our co-production approach centred the perspectives of young people living in youth residential recovery settings, meaning our model of care - which centres relationships, safety, belonging, and feeling known - is uniquely relevant for supporting young people's growth and healing.
