What is it about?
Chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) is a long-term condition characterised by nasal blockage, smell loss, a runny nose and facial pain/pressure as well as poor quality of life. The mainstay of treatment is through the use of nasal sprays and rinses. This study of a national database looks at patient reported use of these medications.

Why is it important?
Compliance with treatment is important for disease control and patients are expected to be referred to secondary care from primary care when baseline medical treatment has failed.
