What is it about?

The paper explores ways that care leavers can be better supported into employment/ adult life. It's based on the evaluation of a project that a local authority runs that helps Care Leavers by providing supportive internship opportunities. Care Leavers need support in accessing the opportunities/ resources provided to them.

Why is it important?

Care leavers are a very marginalised group, we need to understand more about how best to support them in order for them to flourish as they make the transition into work and beyond.

Perspectives

Youth workers may find this particularly interesting!
