What is it about?
Screening children for behavioral problems using a questionnaire is not routinely recommended in the US for children between the ages 3 to 5 years old. We found that children aged 3 to 5 year who were screened for behavioral problems were more likely to be diagnosed and treated for behavioral problems.

Why is it important?
If we address and treat behavioral problems in early childhood we could help to ameliorate the rise in mental health problems later in childhood and adolescence. We should look into how earlier intervention could help children to better in school as well.
