What is it about?
Excessive neutrophil recruitment into inflamed tissue can cause tissue damage. The molecule Bruton’s tyrosine kinase, which is expressed in neutrophils, is involved in neutrophil recruitment and superoxide production. Here, we demonstrate that PRN473, a highly selective inhibitor of Btk, attenuates neutrophil recruitment into inflamed tissue.
