What is it about?
Developing drugs to treat chronic pain is difficult due to its complexity and the variability in how people respond to drugs. We show that a veterinary anti-parasitic drug has potent but partial antihyperalgesic activity in chronic inflammatory pain. We also show that like the human population rats have highly variable responses to drugs in an inflammatory pain test.
