What is it about?
Wind farm developers in Denmark increasingly face challenges in finding adequate sites and getting access to land for new onshore wind farm projects. This paper shows how some developers employ existing stigma attached to rural areas in Denmark in order to legitimize the purchase and clearance of land for the siting of wind turbines, and discusses the likely consequences of such practices.
