Heavy menstrual bleeding is more common in obese women and we needed to understand whether the Mirena IUS was effective in those women as they are in non-obese women.

I think the evidence is now clearer that the MIrena IUS is an effective treatment in obese women but it is not as effective as they are in non obese women
