Considering the cases in the literature, in daily practice patients treated for ankylosing spondylitis with TNF inhibitors, must be carefully monitored for liver function before treatment and at follow-up.

Writing this article was a great pleasure as it has co-authors with whom I have had long standing collaborations. Patients treated for ankylosing spondylitis with TNF inhibitors, have a risk of hepatic flare. So doctors who treat patients with TNF inhibitors can use this data.
