In this paper we developed of a method to identifiy any rodent species from the Iberian peninsula through fecal and bone samples.

Why is it important?
It shows that one can obtain importan information, such as species richness, distribution, genetic diversity, etc., without disturbing individuals and without having to trap animals, which can be less effective and more costly.
