What is it about?
We compared histological samples from feline duodenum obtained with the commonly used biopsy forceps (1.8 mm) and larger biopsy forceps (2.4 mm). Comparing the adequacy, orientation, artefacts and histological characteristics, we concluded that samples collected with the larger forceps have a higher quality and can help in getting a more accurate diagnosis.
