What is it about?
Study the performance of Hall effect thrusters through a few parameters such as, thruster geometry, magnetic field, wall material, and various propellants. For magnetically shielded thrusters metallic wall material was recommended and for unshielded thrusters borosil and boron nitride were recommended.

Why is it important?
This study is useful in extending the lifespan of the thruster and the thruster performance by careful selection of different parameters.
