What is it about?

The Feature Selective Validation (FSV) method is widely used in EMC comparisons, and increasingly so in other disciplines. This paper looks at how well it works and where the current research efforts are mostly directed.

Why is it important?

The number of references to FSV in published papers is increasing on a month-by-month basis. As a result, this second part of the review of FSV provides a timely review of how well FSV performs, and how we know.

Perspectives

I have been working on data comparison and particularly FSV for about 20 years. This is a landmark review of where we have got to, and where we are going.
