What is it about?
DRAGON is an algorithm designed to partition shared resources among different applications on the same edge infrastructure. DRAGON wears a double hat. First, it ensures that it won’t take forever to figure out how to allocate resources (we call this convergence time). Second, it aims for an optimal solution—kind of like finding the best balance between all the app’s resource needs.

Why is it important?
Edge networks are wild and ever-changing. We can’t rely on a central orchestrator (like a traffic cop) because things shift too quickly and applications are too heterogeneous. So, DRAGON swoops in, regulating resource partitioning wisely based on the preferences of each service provider.
