What is it about?
Detection of tumor regions are important especially in tubule formation (one of the critical factor mentioned in Nottingham Histology Grading System). Usually, a histopathologist focus on tumor regions in a histopathological image to perform manual inspection. Based on the manual inspection, the grade of the breast carcinoma could be determined.

Why is it important?
Our findings shows the applicability of landscape analysis in breast histopathological images. The proposed method effectively eliminate irrelevant regions in a breast histopathological image. This could significantly reduce the time taken needed for manual inspection performed by histopathologist.
