What is it about?
Educators always experience challenges in their job including when they are introducing something new. Education for Sustainable Development is one of the new programs introduced recently. But they find it challenging and this study will explore in detail the challenges that they experienced, in the hope that it would be a starting point to find solutions solving the challenges.

Why is it important?
Understanding the challenges helps in assessing the effectiveness of current ESD programs. Educators and policymakers can refine strategies to enhance the impact of sustainability education. Ongoing study of challenges facilitates a culture of continuous improvement. Schools and educational institutions can adapt and evolve their approaches based on insights gained from research, ensuring that ESD initiatives remain relevant and practical.
