Why is it important?
The pandemic of COVID-19 has detailed and shattered the trade dynamics of both developed and developing economies. A situation closer to the aftermaths of the global financial crisis of 2007-08 is lurking at the door-step. At this juncture trade credit can play a pivotal role in reviving global businesses, especially the small scale industries, as it had in the past.
