What is it about?
Many police forces are offering training to officers in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and their effect on people's behaviour. Little is known about what police officers think about the training or whether they view it as useful to their work. This study shows that training needs to take into account the current police culture and the lack of support for officers' own trauma.
