Electronic waste (e-waste) generated and subsequently abandoned, dumped, buried or landfilled has severe local, as well as, global environmental impact. Sustainable electronic waste management (SEWM) has become one of the major developmental challenges facing most developing countries. This paper aims to examine the critical factors that must be considered to improve the waste management situation.
