Why is it important?

It is very challenging to find an agility maturity model which can be applied to whole-of-organization (rather than just sections or team), let alone in the higher education sector. This case study demonstrates how Wendler's model can be adapted not only to this sector but also used applied to both managers and general staff (employees).

Perspectives

The key to maximizing the information presented in this article is to appreciate that Griffith University's survey on organizational agility was just part of an assessment framework, which also included employment engagement and workplace culture.
