What is it about?
This paper explores the potential value of applying spatial science and technology to the issue of care integration across health and social care provision revealing that ageing is still seen as being broadly about people above the traditional retirement age. The issue of focus here is population ageing because it challenges existing information and practice silos. Better integration requires a more geographically informed approach in order to deal with the challenges that population ageing presents to health and social care as they currently function in many countries.
