What is it about?
International entrepreneurs (IEs) move across borders for various reasons, but these motives are not well understood by the public investment agencies trying to attract them. This study examined firms in the French Tech Ticket program, using interviews to explore the different perspectives of IEs and agency staff. Findings reveal that entrepreneurs focus on exploration and the mobility of work while agencies emphasize settlement in a given location, emphasizing the mobility of people. This highlights a complex and evolving landscape of international mobility.
