Electromyography biofeedback system with visual and vibratory feedbacks designed for lower limb rehabilitation

What is it about?

The lack of feedback is one of the key reasons why people with amputation abandon prosthetic devices in the long-term. We developed a Biofeedback device that incorporates Virtual Reality and Vibratory feedback that can be used as a tool during pre-prosthetic training. Our goal is to evaluate the best strategies to include feedback mechanisms in prosthetic devices and improve their usability.
