What is it about?
Michel Foucault is among the most cited writers in many academic fields, including Library and Information Science (LIS). Yet a review of a quarter century's worth of LIS journal literature indicates that such citations are mostly brief and in passing, although covering a very wide range of topics. Most more in-depth discussions of Foucault's ideas in LIS journal articles appear to have been relatively overlooked by other LIS scholars.
