What is it about?
Almost all university students surveyed (96%) agreed that having an emergency contact scheme in place for serious issues like mental or physical health, safety, or engagement is a good idea. A few students who disagreed were worried about feeling less in control or thought that involving a trusted contact could make things worse. We also found that students with someone they trust had better mental well-being and social support than those without such support.
