What is it about?
In 2018 a new law was passed in Singapore to protect vulnerable adults. This paper examines the reasons why, what politicians hoped to achieve and how the new law is to be administered. It covers subjects such as the new professional roles under the Act and its focus on community living adults, not people living in care homes or hospitals. This Act may be interesting to people living in Singapore but also to people from other countries.
