What is it about?
A real life case study of an automotive industry transforming itself to a lean way of working in a growing market environment. It presents a huge learning for young MBA graduates and the production shop floor practicing managers. It aims at sharing the elements of lean excellence in a production set up and also fusses on the dimensions of project management. There are challenges before the management to expand under constraints of time, facility re-layout and prepare the plant for the huge transformation to lean systems. Nine questions are put forward to be responded. Each of the nine questions have the actuals. the storyline is full of learnings.
