Why is it important?

The globalization of business and systems is fuelling the need to acquire a deeper understand on the impact of gamification in technology acceptance and use within the financial industry. Earlier research on mobile banking acceptance and potential gamification impact analysis is very limited, not following the accelerated and consistent grow of banks and financial institutions that decided to apply it on their systems and services, registered worldwide over the last few years; a gap that we try hereby to reduce.
