Families’ engagement in making activities related to aerospace engineering: designing for parents as learning partners in pop-up makerspaces

What is it about?

Increasingly, families attend engineering programs using making materials at libraries and museums. Our research shows that discussion prompts for families supported parents to assist their children in the engineering design process, which influenced science talk and aerospace engineering activities.
