Do vulnerability mitigation strategies influence firm performance: the mediating role of supply chain risk

What is it about?

In this age of globalization, small and medium enterprises are adversely facing different types of vulnerabilities in their supply chain to realize their financial and operational tasks. We show four different risk mitigation strategies that can minimize the emergence of vulnerabilities in SMEs' supply chain to uplift their business performance. In doing so, we introduce supply chain finance as a significant risk mitigation strategy for SMEs to overcome the credit issue in the supply chain cycle and meet SMEs' daily operational needs.
